Host a 'New Normal' Coffee Morning for Hospice

This year's coffee morning will take place on 24 September 2020. Though it will need to be a virtual or socially distant event, we hope you will still consider taking part safely to raise funds for hospice care in county Laois. Details on how to register can be found below.

Gortnalee Gardens

Gortnalee Gardens Donaghmore are unable to hold an Open Day for Laois Hospice this year due to Covid-19. To try and support the Hospice these delightful and well-known gardens will be open to visitors in June in the afternoons from 2pm to 5pm but due to Social Distancing there is a limit to the number of visitors at any one time. Laois Vintage Shave, Wax & Dye for Hospice

On Saturday 11th January last presentation of € 10,850 was made by Laois Vintage Ltd to Laois Hospice Foundation Ltd following a very successful *Shave, Wax and Dye Night* in the Brewery Pub in Rathdowney. Our thanks to all participants and organisers.

About Laois Hospice

Since its inception in 1989, Laois Hospice Foundation has helped to provide a palliative care service for Cancer patients, whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. The Hospice also provides support for the families of such patients. This total care involves doctors, nurses, a team of specialists and the clergy, who are all concerned with quality of life.
