Clonaslee St Stephen's Day Walk

The annual St Stephen's Day walk will take place in the beautiful village of Clonaslee on 26 December. A ten mile and three mile family route will be available. The committee are delighted this year to resume serving light refreshments in the community centre upon your return from the walk. Laois Offaly Garda Charity Gala Concert

Laois Offaly Garda Division are hosting a Charity Gala Concert to celebrate the centenary of An Garda Síochána. The concert, featuring the Garda Band, will take place at St Peter & Paul's Church, Portlaoise on Friday 21 October 2022 from 8pm. Tea and Coffee will be hosted before the event by Portlaoise Community Policing. Tickets, €10, are available online at eventbrite.ie, or by contacting Sergeant Jason Hughes at 083-0246193. About Laois Hospice

Since its inception in 1989, Laois Hospice Foundation has helped to provide a palliative care service for Cancer patients, whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. The Hospice also provides support for the families of such patients. This total care involves doctors, nurses, a team of specialists and the clergy, who are all concerned with quality of life.
