Coffee & Cake at St Colman's NS

Last Tuesday, St Colman's NS, Stradbally held a very successful coffee morning in aid of Laois Hospice.

Text: Ms Carroll Deputy Principal and her 6th class organised the proceedings. There was an amazing display of home baked goods. The event was very well supported by parents, grandparents and local community who all came along and very generously supported this worthy cause. We felt it was a good community morning in aid of Laois Hospice.

About Laois Hospice

Since its inception in 1989, Laois Hospice Foundation has helped to provide a palliative care service for Cancer patients, whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. The Hospice also provides support for the families of such patients. This total care involves doctors, nurses, a team of specialists and the clergy, who are all concerned with quality of life.
