Laois Hospice Treasurer, Mary Finlay, recently received a donation of €1270 from Podge Langton following his successful participation in the 2024 Dublin Marathon.

Podge explained his reasons for running the marathon in aid of Laois Hospice: “I decided to raise funds for Laois Hospice because in February 2023 when my mam was ill and in the last few days before she passed away the care and support we received from palative care nurses was outstanding. It is definitely something my family will never forget. Hopefully these funds raised will go a long way in helping others.”

Laois Hospice Treasurer, Mary Finlay, offered her congratulations to Podge on his marathon result and thanked all who contributed donations.
